Summary
This is about a mad scientist working in a lab, when suddenly his monster rose up and started dancing. The dance was called the monster mash. All the other ghost and vampires started dancing along. They created a band together.

Personal reaction
I think this is a good book to read to children in a singing voice. I would read this when the kids need a break or just need time to be silly. Perfect time to get them up dancing.

Classroom Extension.
1.Since the book used many words that rhymed I would have the children stand in one big circle and pass a ball around after they say a word that rhymes with the last word that was said.
2. Have the children get up ans let loose while playing the monster mash song.… (más)
