As a result, Jamie Carter is kidnapped and forced to care for Governor Phillip Grant's kidnapped daughter, Charlotte. Beaten and raped, Jamie struggles to survive as Bailino manipulates the situation to save Gino from lethal injection. It is a race to the finish to see if the FBI and state police can save them or if Jamie fell under captor Bailino's smooth talking spell.

Much of the mystery is taken away by revealing the kidnapper so soon.
