Little Bear worries about everything: from not knowing his ABCs to not scoring a goal in soccer to the unknown monsters hiding behind his bed. All of this worry and stress leaves him feeling like he can't move at all. Despite what Grandma Bear, Grandpa Bear, and Auntie Bear say, Little Bear just cannot stop worrying. Mama Bear realizes this and little by little, she helps Little Bear overcome his anxiety. How Big Are Your Worries Little Bear? is a beautifully written and illustrated book that serves to show children how anxiety can be a normal thing, and how you're able to overcome and manage it with the right help. This book would work perfectly in my classroom when speaking with students about how to show compassion and understanding towards others, particularly those suffering from anxiety.

As the title states, this book is about: Teaching children about personal boundaries, respect and consent. Power and kids by respecting their choices and the right to say no. I think this is a good book- very important. Ages: 3+

This book is about children respecting other peoples space and promotes self regulation on what is or isn't appropriate. It goes over not touching someone, hitting them, or the right to not feel uncomfortable and having that voice to say no. In the story it shows how having that voice gives the power of choice and that everyone should respect each other's feelings.

A child takes you through a story explaining different situations of understanding called empathy. From when his mother was sick, brother hurt his knee, or when a little girl was knocked down by a dog. He tried to understand to be helpful and make them feel better.
