I thought this was a great book about kangaroos! I loved how the illustrations supported the text, but added humor to the story as well because they showed the kangaroo doing human activities. This book could be used to discuss text/illustration relationship, as well as show students an example of an informational text that is also readable/funny/fictional. This book could also be used by younger students to practice determining what parts of the story are real facts about kangaroos, and what parts are included for humor.
