I found this book to be a pretty insightful examination of adolescent culture. The passage on Asian students was especially interesting. Its discussion of Asians as the "model minorities" and all the pressures and misunderstandings that go along with made enormous sense and jibes exactly with my experiences in the classroom.

The chapter on adolescent male aggression and homophobia was equally powerful and put the issue into an understandable context.

This book is definitely worth a read if you're an educator or a parent who worries about how schools are addressing multiculturalism.… (más)
