Buckle up, because the Bone People by Wally Runnels is one creepy ride. I sure wouldn’t want them after me, as they give Rocky a task to complete if he wants his friend, Hector released. The Devil will have its due. It’s just what price will have to paid and who will pay it. I enjoyed the story and, if you like a walk on the weird side, I recommend giving Bone People by Wally Runnels a run for the money. But… Beware…The Bone People only have one agenda…they want what you have.

Twisted Love by Wally Runnels is a gritty tale that is enmeshed around the drug cartels in Mexico. Set in Mexicali, Mexico, our protagonist is Rocky, and just by the name alone, you know he is one tough customer. Rocky is a force to be reckoned with and as a creepy one armed assassin and a ex- marine, he is a gifted killer. Now he is on a mission to eliminate a newspaper editor who is getting a little too close to revealing some corruption and shady deals in the state police department. For a crime novel, this story is riveting, for action and suspense, this will keep you glued to your seat. There is plenty of action and a lot of twists and interesting turns to keep the pace hopping. Julietta Aguilar is the love interest in the story, and when she discovers something amazing during an archeological dig, strange things begin to transpire. A great mix of tension, a little romance and cold blooded killers, makes this story solid from beginning to the end. Highly recommend.… (más)
