Not a get-rich-quick guide but a memoir of a real estate agent's first year -- both helpful and laugh-out loud funny. Thanks Newsweek for recommending it.

A real estate memoir, written in very short chapters. Full of advice from a newbie agent who got into all sorts of scrapes and misdaventures. I agree with Newsweek, this book was funny.

Basically go against conventional wisdom is the advice of this book. Very New York centric. Funny stories and common sense advice. Some best for last on some ideas how to make a house a home.

A very quick read, which didn't really enlighten me with any new information. I thought her decisions were odd, why try to flip in NJ, when you have so many contacts in NY? And her crisis of money was laughable, turning down $150K a year and then saying your struggling just doesn't make you a good candidate to discuss taking a real estate risk.½
