I received a copy of this book for the purpose of review.

This books follows the life of a woman named Grace who is married to an abusive husband. When the book starts Grace has just been badly beaten by Karl and ends up in the hospital. She ends up going back to her parents home, the home she grew up in during her recovery and the reader is taken for a journey of the conflicting feelings and emotions Grace goes through. Some parts will make you angry, horrified and sad while others will make you laugh. I can only wonder if the writer has some personal knowledge of domestic violence due to the disturbingly real way this story is written. Because I found some areas of the story to be too depressing or repetitive I couldn't give it a full 4 stars but I would give it 3 1/2 if I could.… (más)
