I have never read anything by Carolly Erikson, so I was very pleasantly surprised by "The Tsarina's Daughter". This is a fictional story about Tatiana Romanov and her life up to and after the downfall of the Romanov family. It is a tale that explores her relationship with her mother, sisters, father, as well as Rasputin. It has well developed characters and a story line that captures the reader's interest. I was so curious about what would happen next that it was hard to put the book down. Although purely fictional, it peaked my interest about the Romanov family.
