Interesting TV-made alternative to the well known Merchant Ivory film. Apart from the probably unwise add-on of unlikely post WWI action, this is a good attempt, with some interesting features; less romantic and more realistic.

It spans the years between 1929 and 1945, and focuses on Hitler's obsessive relationship with his niece Geli Raubal (Elaine Cassidy), which eventually led to the girl's suicide, then goes on to tell the story of how Eva Braun (Christine Tremarco) became his wife. We continue to enjoy this series a lot. Complex plots which you can't usually solve and good characters.

We continue to enjoy this series and I actually quite like that Bacchus continues to be an unredemable sort with out of date opinions and the prickly relationship with Gently.

Five additional episodes of the Inspector Lewis series.......excellent as usual. I now have all 33 episodes of Inspector Morse and all 17 episodes of Inspector Lewis --the continuation of the Oxford detectives. Great, Great!!½
