This is a pleasant and delightful book that shows the importance of caring for nature and the environment. This is an important message to children, who may not fully appreciate our nature. With a light touch, the story relays the drama of winter, which makes the story more interesting. A wonderful collection of drawings enhance the story and give it a more realistic mood. Overall, I enjoyed reading this book, not only because of animated pictures, but the message from the author provides a great message to children.
