The Best Book Yet!

I read / listened to this book in audio version via audible.com. I always say, audio breathes life into a book. There is no better proof of that than in this book. Even if you have read this book, I strongly suggest getting it in audio version too! The Irish accent of Bryn is fantastic. Pyper did a fantastic job reading these characters. Her accents and voices are flawless & very, very H O T ! Also, you can't even imagine how much fun it was to listen to. Try out a sample & see for yourself!

This is by far the best book in this series so far. I absolutely fell in love with Bryn. Bryn & Lauren together are so much fun! I want a Bryn of my own!!!

Here we are in book 6 of this series " The Firsts". In book 6, we are back with Bryn (the Irish rogue vampire) and Lauren (the scientist from the lab). If we think back Lauren is the one who burned down the lab & freed all the supernaturals that were being tested like lab rats.

Days of Redemption is fun, witty, sexy as all hell & loaded with excitement & danger! I love how the Author has all the characters that we met & loved in the past, keep meeting up to help each other out! I enjoy reading a series & I am already familiar with some of the characters!

Lauren is hiding and has changed her last name and looks She now has a shop in Chicago. Walking home one night, a drunk crashes a motorcycle in front of her. She goes to help & recognizes Bryn, the drunken vampire from back at the lab. He doesn't recognize her while drunk, but later he does. It only gets hotter from here!

Bryn & Lauren start having a tryst. It's just sex though. Lauren knows Bryn will never settle down for one woman. Now you have to read the book to see what else happens. I had laughed many times in this book.

The Author, C L Quinn really out did herself writing this book. This book is total genius! The narrator, Pyper Down rocked the narration! The accents were fabulous. The excitement was more than incredible. When mixing this author and narrator the book explodes! Kudos to both ladies, you are both spot on in this book! Thank you so much! I enjoyed this book way too much!

Another fantastic hit!

I read / listened to this story in audio format via audible.com. I love audiobooks and this series in particular is a real treat in the audio world! Audiobooks are lie listening to a movie, only better because the books are always better. Audiobooks allow us to read and bee hands free in our multitasking world. They also make great companions for long drives , walking and so on....

Final Days, Book 5 of the Firsts series (First Blood Vampires) by C L Quinn. This book picks up where book 4 left off. We start out with Coen in Chicago as he accidentally bumps into Alesa and it's love at first sight! Coen, who is so thankful for finding his sole mate and Alesa, who is terminally ill with A.S.L. (Lou Gehrig Disease) and says why not have a fling with a stranger. Off on the other side of the world is Jacob and Starla. Starla is pregnant with a first blood vampire baby by Amos, but in love with another man Jacob. We also have Wyndari who really wants Amos so badly, but he won't look at her as he still pines for Starla, so Wyndari sets out to kill her Starla off. You won't believe where this story will take you. Why oh why couldn't I be a vampire or at least have me a vampire of my own?

Once again, C L Quinn has out done herself in his series! The plot is outstanding. I was caught up in book & stayed that way thru the entire book! I laughed and I cried (a lot) as I listened to this story. I just love this series so much! So much emotion, love and sex all wrapped up in this tale with humor, adventure and danger too! Never a dull moment in the vampire world!

The author did an fabulous job as always in this book. I am so hooked on this series. The narrator Pyper Down is once again a perfect storyteller with all of her accent's and multiple voices. It is like I am listening to a real movie! Her accents so so authentic!!! Together to two ladies are explosive!I hope this series never ends!

1st let me say, I read / listened to this book in audio format via audible.com. I grab the audio versions when I see them as audio breathes life into a book! Audio offers multiple voices, accents, proper pronunciations & loads of excitement in all the right places. It's like listening to a movie, only better because we all know the book is always better! Audio books also allow us to read hands free & still do chores, driving, house cleaning etc... .
Darkened Days by C L Quinn. This is book 4 of "The Firsts" series. In this book we have Jacob is sent to find Eillia 's friend Starla who was injured in an accident & then turns up missing. Some young vampires have been capturing women & turning them into vampires against their will. Starla turns out to be one of these turned vampires. Eventually Starla & Jacob become an item, but Jacob has competition. Amas is one the the "Firsts" who is looking at Starla to bear him some children.
With loads of excitement, tons of adventure & some really hot sex, this book like the other "Firsts" books doesn't disappoint us. I really enjoy this Author C L Quinn's stories. I love how she keeps bringing back characters from previous books that are familiar to me, like an old friend.
In the audio version of this book, Pyper Downs breathes life into this story making it an exciting adventure! Pyper is wonderful at multiple voices and her accents are fantastic. It's like a second language to Pyper Downs. I love listening to her tell a story! Kudos to both Pyper Downs & C L Quinn for another wonderful trip to the vampire world of the "Firsts"

The Story Continues... Book 3
1st let me say, I read / listened to this book in audio format via audible.com. I get audiobooks whenever possible as audiobooks offer so much more than a printed book or eBook does, such as accents, multiple voices, proper pronunciations & excitement in all the right places. In addition to all that, audiobooks allow me to do other things while reading such as walking, yard work, driving and so on. To listen to an audiobook is like listening to a movie, only better, because we all know the book is always better than a movie!
This is the 3rd book in the FIRSTS series. In book 2 it left off with Tamsen had escaped after a fierce some battle. This book takes off with Tamsen going after Eillia. Eillia being Park's sister and another of the FIRSTS, that Tamsen has so much jealousy & hatred for.
A well written storyline and a great plot set in Alaska that won't leave you bored, Longest Days doesn't disappoint. This book has everything an average paranormal book lover would be looking for with action & adventure, vampires, humor, excitement, sex & more! There is so much more I could say, but it might spoil the story for readers.
This is the 4th book I have read by this author C L Quinn / T C Butts and she never disappoints me. I am amazed at the amount of imagination it would take to not only write a book or series, but an even longer series than most are. Kudos to this author for doing such a fine job! The narrator, Natalie Duke did a good job delivering this story to us too, with all the multiple voices, accents & excitement in all the right places. It always amazes me how many voices 1 person can do & remember each voice per character! Good job ladies!

Another exciting chapter in the FIRSTS series!
1st let me say, I read / listened to this book in audio format via audible.com. This is absolutely a must LISTEN to book in audio format. The whole series is! All the adventure, excitement, accents , proper pronunciations and sex! There is no way I could have pronounced all the names right, let alone create the accents as I read the book.
This book picks right up where book 1 left off at. We start with Cherise. Remember in book 1 Cherise was leaving the vampire life? Cherise starts out owning her own bakery / restaurant. Someone ones & brings to her attention there is a vampire very ill in an abandoned house that needs her help to heal. Cherise takes off for this house to find David, a very ill, very out of his mind vampire. David is one of the FIRSTS. How did he get there? What is his story? All these answers come as we read thru the story.
I was so happy to see this book about Cherise as she was my favorite character in the first book of this series. I like Park from book one, but I liked Cherise even more. In this book we get tons of action & excitement. So many twists & turns in the plot, you won't be bored for sure! I loved how the story & all the characters are interwoven into each other. I enjoyed towards the end when some old characters came back into play. I enjoyed seeing Cohen, Bas & Park again. It was just like old times. I really enjoy seeing characters I know again.
This author, C L Quinn really knows how to write! Absolutely an amazing imagination to not just write 1 of these vampire books, but a whole series! I am totally floored how the story goes back & forth and everything is related to each other. Everything written about has a time & meaning for it! The narrator Pyper Down did a fantastic job delivering this book. With all her accents, it seemed so real!!! Kudos to both of these ladies!!! I look forward to book 3. I can't wait to see what will happen next!

Ooh la laaa!!!
1st let me start by saying, I read / listened to this book in audio format via audible.com. This is defiantly a book you want to hear the voices in. All the accents are wonderful and the excitement! It's like listening to a movie, but better because the book is always better!
Park meets a man who is hijacking her car. Bas orders her to drive & she refuses. Never let them take you to another place! Then Park learns that Bas is a vampire and is even more scared. As time goes on Park decides this vampire is a great guy And really likes Bas. As relationships go, down the road Park gets pregnant. We learn through Clarise that the legends of the firsts is really true. The Firsts are the blood of the very first vampires (like blue bloods). All this time, the other vampires had never met a First & just thought it was a legend.
Now someone is going around killing vampires. Bas Clarise, Park, Coen and all the others are trying to figure out how to stop all the killings. This is a fast paced, witty & very sexy book! And can I again say Ohhh Laaa Laa!
For a character we love to hate... OMG , Parks mom is looney. This is one mean lady. All of Park's life, her mom treated her like dirt.
I very much enjoyed this read. It kept me interested. The plot is well written & lots of laughs too. You may not want to listen (if you have the audiobook) aloud in front of others. The author C LQuinn did a great job on writing this book. The narrator did a fabulous job delivering this book to the listeners! (again audio format). One thing for sure... Never a dull moment in this book! Good job ladies!
