This was enjoyable short novella. There's not really any character or plot development - but that's about what you expect from this sort of read. It did annoy me that Jake contradicted himself - he was looking for a hookup, he wasn't looking for a relationship - he didn't seem to know what the hell he wanted and he had the nerve to question Noelle. But it was easy enough to ignore. The romance between them was alright, nothing particularly memorable but it was sweet and lighthearted and perfect for my mood. 2.5 stars, rounded up to 3.

Pure sex OMG I was reading this in public and had to stop. But I LOVED it! The characters and the story were just what I enjoyed. Now if only I could find myself a guy like that main character....

This book was okay just okay. I didn't love it but I also didn't hate it. However, I don't know as I'd bother to read anything else by this author.

This Lost in Oblivion novella was a quick and sexy into the lives of Harper and Deacon on their honeymoon. Deacon is perfection I've always loved him but unfortunately Harper annoyed me a bit in this story. Quick and dirty, a good read but not an amazing one. It won't stop me from waiting eagerly for more from this author however.

"3.5 out of 5 stars! Callie (Calliope) has been trying to bring her life together ever since her divorce about a year ago, now she lands a job that could bring her photography career into the big time. Yet will Owen, the sexy bassist from the band she’s working with, add to her newfound happiness or brake everything she has worked so hard to accomplish?

I had never read this series before, but the authors have it set into their Oblivion Series’ world, and I had read a book or two from that “world” already, so I had a feeling I would enjoy this one. And I am happy to say I did enjoy it. I liked Callie and Owen, especially ..."

The female MC was TSTL and I just wanted to strangle all of them. How did she not see the big announcement coming? Eesh. I love this author but this is not one of the stronger books I've read.

Received from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

So I was participating in one of my book club's reading challenges and I needed an author with the last name of Q. I was on NetGalley, saw the Q for Quinn, read the summary and said, sure why not, let's request this. And holy goodness am I ever glad I did!

While this is an in-between story, I really enjoyed the writing and getting to know the characters. I liked it so much that I immediately went to Amazon and wish-listed the first book in the series just so I could see how things got started. This was also my second trip into rocker romance land and just cemented that I've been missing out! Can't wait to keep going.

Very short. Very sweet. Very lovable. Very surprising. Very hot.
I wish it was longer, really; Jake and Noelle were extraordinary, their chemistry explosive and their banter is all what I love in a book: teasing, funny, smart and sexy.

I finished it in about one hour and I was left craving for more. Cari Quinn: please consider writing about them a full-length novel someday!

Both of these books are great novels, I do wish book 3 was available on GP but its not, No biggie because they are stand-alone and you do not have to read them in any order. They are not cliffhangers and end in HEA. Both are great and different. I do not have to go out and buy more and that is a plus. although I probably would have if book 3 had been available for me. MFM in book 2 readers beware. Book one is classic m/f and ends HEA great reads for the upcoming Valentines day.

REVIEW:  LAGUNA HEIGHTS BY KAIRA ROUDA

Laguna Heights by Kaira RoudaMy rating: 4 of 5 starsSecrets, betrayal, fear. Annie had lived with those most of her adult life. Coping was not easy but she managed until she got the shock of her life. A visit from the past. Now one shocking night of violence threatens to destroy all that she holds dear. Kaira Rouda has written a story that every woman should read. Annie was trapped within a prison that she created to escape the events of the past. Her predicament angered me because she didn't deserve the fall out she had to endure because she trusted the wrong person. The seriousness of this story is evident from the first page. One devastating event led to a spur of the moment the decision that could topple her whole world. Laguana Heights is gripping, heartbreaking and triumphant. I received an ARC of this novel in exchange for an honest review. A stunning piece of fiction that lingers on after the last page.View all my reviews

What made Bedded Bliss work for me is that the two main characters where total opposites but without either one the story wouldn't have been as enjoyable. The chemistry was electric. The attraction was sensuous, dialogue was saucy and the story itself was total guilty pleasure material. He needed to tone down his wild ways. She needed to amp up hers. Um. Um. Good.

Received an ARC for my fair review for netgalley. I did enjoy this book, I loved Dillon! He was such a sweet guy trying to help Alexis out, and be known for himself. Sigh.. Alexis, she was a go getter, she knew what she wanted and even though times were tough and her self doubt was starting to catch up, she didn't give up, and Dillon helped her with that. They were a good couple, of course the lie of who Dillon really was blew up, but the outcome brought out their fighting spirit..now to Cole's book.

I can honestly say I was blown away by Seduced by Cari Quinn & Taryn Elliott . I was hooked from the very beginning – when I read the authors’ ‘Note to our Readers’. “This isn’t your typical love story. We wanted you to know that before you even get to page one. So if you’re …Read More

"5 out of 5 stars!! Two acquaintances meet up unexpectedly in Vegas. After a night of partying and heavy flirtation they wake up to find they’re married yet have no memory of doing so. Both are from different upbringings and completely different worlds, but because of how he was raised Michael doesn’t want to get divorced and plans on assisting Chloe any way he can so their marriage will work. Will all of Michael’s plans fall into place, making it so Chloe, her son, and Michael can actually be a good family together? Or will others try to keep them apart for good?

This is the first really sweet rockstar romance novel that I’ve read in a while, and I am SOOO HAPPY that I found it! Though I feel that Ms. Quinn & Ms. Elliott need to put together some type of “family tree” for the band (if they haven’t already) just to keep everyone’s backgrounds straight, I did not feel lost at all in this novel and it kept me entertained the whole way through, with..."

Found in Oblivion is the perfect name for this new spin-off series with glimpses back at Nick, Lila and some of the others. With Bedded Bliss being a good start to this new series with fresh new characters (Michael, Mal, Ry, Elle, Chloe, Axl, and more) and their own set of quirks and draws.

Michael may be young. He may be on the rise as a star. He may be in the tabloids just a bit too much. He may have garnered interest of an unavailable woman. He may have just come up with a plan to get more time with his brother. He may have come up with a plan to show he has grown to shed the bad boy image. Chloe may be a little head strong and determined. She may be hard working. She may be a single mom. She may be the answer to all his ills. She may be the key to his future. She may also come with her own issues in life.

Michael and Chloe took a chance. Sometimes these chances work out other times they just fall flat. Whats done in secret always has a way of coming out. The music was on it. The concerts live. The groupies overwhelming. The doubts that Michael was serious clear. Michael showed that he was more that rock star. He showed Chloe that he could be everything she needed. He was smart beyond his years. He won her over slowly with small gestures and simple things.

I have not read the whole series of Lost in Oblivion but that was not necessary to follow this read. I was able to follow things just fine. I would say that it just made me want even more to get the missing books from the series in my collection so that I could read them. I think that it would only add to the goodness of the read. Quinn & Elliott did a fabulous job on connecting the music and the people.

DESCRIPTION, NOT REVIEW: My name is Hunter Jordan, lead singer of Hammered and no, I didn't name my c*ck Manaconda.

Rolling Stone did.

On the front cover of their damn magazine.

I still haven't lived it down. And now our record label wants to maximize the frenzy.

So, I have a brand new PR person–Kennedy McManus.

And she's making me insane.

I don't know whether to ignore her, yell at her, or push her up against the wall and kiss her smart mouth shut.

I ended up kissing her.

Come on, I mentioned how exasperating she was, right?

That's when it blew up in both our faces.

Now, the tabloids think she's my girlfriend. My record label would rather have me remain the single manwhore of the ages.

Kennedy thinks I'm the manwhore anyway. She wants me for a quick fling and nothing more.

I just want Kennedy.

Man, I'm so screwed.

Fantastic Fun…yep…that is what this book was for me. It had a rock band for characters but focused on the female keyboard player, Faith “Keys” Keystone. In the first bit of the story Faith is accosted by a stalker so a bodyguard is brought in as additional security to keep her safe. Talk about opposites! Quinn Alexander is a quiet controlled man who prefers alone time to being out in public with chaos to contend with. Faith is outgoing, thrives on time “out there” and not the easiest person to guard – especially with so much chemistry in the air. The interaction between the two of them was super and the rest of the characters are begging for their stories to be told, too.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and hope to read more by these authors in the future. Thank you to NetGalley and Rainbow Rage Publishing for the copy to read and review.

4.5 Stars½
