Dr. Yasir Qadhi was born in Houston, Texas, where he completed a B.Sc. Chemical Engineering, and then went to pursue Islamic Studies at the University of Madinah. There, he did a BA in Hadith Sciences, and an MA in Islamic Theology. He then completed a PhD in Islamic Studies from Yale University. mostrar más He is currently the Dean of Academic Affairs of the This Islamic Seminary of America, and resides with his wife and four children in Dallas, Texas. mostrar menos

Having the Surah and its Tafsir (commentary) read with all its unexpected turns and lessons imparted sparks a much need contemplating upon one's own life. It helps that the Sheikh writes quite accessibly and eloquently. Definitely will need to be reread constantly for further insights and perhaps more importantly, to serve as sorely needed reminders.
