Alex Prior

Alex Prior, the author, did a creditably good job of writing an anthology of Sherlock Holmes short stories in the writing style of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The text flow and wording were those used by Conan Doyle in the original series. Of course, being crime mysteries, solutions to the who-done-it plots are never revealed fully explained in the included stories until the end when Holmes confronted the perpetrator with his evidence. Doctor Watson serves as Holmes’ sounding board throughout and as Holmes’ ultimate exploit documenter. I found the anthology to be enjoyable to read and hope that Prior moves forward in putting together a similar book in the future.… (más)
