Filed under "ok", this book is a quick read on conspiracies in five categories: suspicious deaths, false-flag operations, cover-ups, political conspiracies, and espionage and covert operations.
As you can imagine, many of the older, more infamous conspiracies, such as the assassination of JFK, the Apollo 11 moon landing, was Princess Diana's car crash an accident, did the US know in advance of the attack on Pearl Harbor, and who's to blame for the sinking of the USS Maine are all covered. But there are many more lesser-known conspiracies covered, as well. Some more interesting than others.

The book has some editorial errors that are a little off-putting, but the research (and alternatives given to each conspiracy) is sound.

It was an easy read with a lot of information dating from BC to the present. A good beginners guide to get your feet wet with politics but I also think someone with plenty of knowledge on the subject would enjoy it because its not elementary either.

Yes, History's Greatest Mysteries may include almost all the famous mysteries from earth's history but without any new developments to report on, really, how many of us need to read yet again about the Loch Ness monster, the Bermuda Triangle or the Mary Celeste?

I honestly don't think there was any information provided that I didn't already know and wth about four pages per mystery, the coverage is perfunctionary at best. What saves it from complete failure is the glimpses of the author's dry humour throughout.

Really only recommended for people who have woken from a decades long coma and need a refresher on all things mysterious.
