This relatively succinct volume describes stalking from a psychological perspective, reviewing the many types of stalkers and their respective pathological constellations. This is a professional resource book and it is written at a high level with references to research annoted throughout. As a clinical psychologist who works with a forensic population, I found this to be a very helpful overview of the subtypes of stalker, how they present clinically, and the threat levels associated with each type. I particularly liked the case studies that were presented to illustrate different types of stalkers, as it made the models easier to understand. I would recommend this book to any professional looking for a primer on stalking. It is a great reference and it provides good information to someone without much experience in stalker risk assessment work.… (más)
