If you need this sort of book, this is the one to get. I also read the rather unhelpful [b:Doing Business In 21st Centary India|7558740|Doing Business In 21st Centary India|Gunjan Bagla|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1344265976s/7558740.jpg|9871423] (which could have been better titled "The Companies Operating in India") which had only one good chapter.

Inside the Indian Business Mind is all about culture and how the Indian culture is different than the US, and they have a nice framework "ingredients" to take you through it. The book identifies easy-to-make mis-steps -- like Indians shake their heads left/right in agreement while in the US that would be considered disagreement.

The format includes discussion of the culture norms along with where they come from sprinkled with many vignettes that show one aspect or another in (real world?) situations.
