What was at first (at least it seems) a final story to save the Black and Decker Pecker Wrecker and inadvertently Cheeto. There was a lot of action and heart to this story. A great end to the trilogy that isn’t a trilogy.

The Story:
Clementine learns a lot about harnessing her powers in this installment. The WooWooJuJu ladies continue to provide comic relief for dangerous situations and I fell even more in love with some of the “fictional” characters.

Cheeto is my favorite character.

The Story:
A wonderful world that seamlessly blends magic and the power of friendship with a dash of “crazy auntie” for comic relief. And you need relief when your husband is a dirty cheater, his mistress is out to get your house and suddenly you can see all the fictional characters you’ve created in your time as an author.

The Random Thoughts:
“Black and Decker Pecker Wrecker” has to be the best title I’ve ever heard of.

It was the craziest, funniest, most absurd book I've read in ages - and I loved every minute of it. I'm definitely going to read all the rest books in this series. A perfect read if you need something light and crazy. Five stars.

The Story:

A rather action-packed installment with the promise of future romance. I’m so glad Cicley is getting her head out of her backside concerning Abedon. A blind man can see that the demon loves her. I liked the reality show aspect of the story and how it bonded Cicely to the contestants. The new demons to the party are… interesting. I can’t wait until the new family blends together with the current family. It should be fun.
I’m not happy with the cliffhanger ending but I am happy this series is continuing.

The Story:

When Ceciley finds out she is part demon her whole life turns upside down and is in so much danger. This is a spinoff of the Good to the Last Death Series and I’m so glad I found it. I’ve missed Daisy, Gideon and the crew soi it’s nice to meet some new characters with the same joie de vivre. Having the same narrator also helps keep the same vibes. There are some holes in the story especially around the romance, but I can overlook it.

The Random Thoughts:

From my personal enjoyment, I would rate this 3/5 stars.
As for a more objective rating, even 2/5 stars are generous.
But honestly, what did I expect.

Good plot, but horrible dialog. Never read another by her

Really a 3.5 stars....
The book was really funny, somethings really annoyed me though

So I loved Flip and the woo woo ju ju clan!

The Story:

We start this story right where we left off in book 7 with a sad and bittersweet goodbye but we are soon overwhelmed by the delightful yet ominous appearance of 4 decapitated drag queens who happen to be very powerful indeed. This is as usual a fun and slightly terrifying romp through the supernatural world and I enjoyed every moment of it. I am not so patiently waiting for Daisy’s next adventure.

3rd book in the Hot Damed series. Paranormal romantic comedy. Best read as part of the series.
Dixie is a Demon and currently living in Eden, Kentucky trying to figure out her life. But new powers plus Mother Nature, the Demon of Death, not to mention her sister’s Baby Demons, has Dixie longing for the simpler Hell where she knows the rules. Nope, not gonna happen.

Laugh out loud hilarity, crazy antics and steamy hot males in action make this book fly. Dixie may have been the sweet family member but give her power and watch her soar.

Fashionable Dead Down Under by Robyn Peterman
2nd book in the Hot Damned series. Paranormal romantic comedy.
Astrid is in Hell. Literally. But it’s unlike anything expected. She’s tasked with finding a sword but interfering relatives make it almost impossible. Watch out for Mother Nature’s fury and the Seven Deadly Sins and, of course, those Baby Demons. Astrid just wants to get back to Ethan buts she’s a little busy at the moment.

Hilariously crazy and wonderfully zany. Expect the unexpected. And watch your back for those baby Demons. They can pop up anywhere and love to watch the action.

Madison’s Mess by Robyn Peterman
Sea Shenanigans series #4. Paranormal romance. Can be read as a stand-alone.
Jack and Diane’s reality tv show is cancelled. That’s ok, it was just a cover set up by Poseidon for Madison and Rick to save the world.
Once upon a time, a mermaid and a vegan werewolf met and cared for a baby while fighting gnomes.
Crazy antics and a hero’s great, great, great, great, great, great great, …grandson save the world from the gnome king.

Off-the-wall crazy, silly and hilarious. The child steals the show with the giggling and ultimate powers.

My So-Called Mystical Midlife series book 2. Paranormal women’s fiction. Best read as part of the series but the prologue in this book is the ending to the first book so can be read as a stand-alone.
Ghosts and written characters come to life help Clementine defend against the ex husband and help Cheetoh with her magic. Add in a crazy ex girlfriend, a hot lawyer, and Aunt Flip and who knows what might be found coming out of the kitchen.

Crazy fun, hilarious antics, and sarcasm makes this story a total blast. Don’t look for serious lit here. It’s a story of a 42 year old romance writer whose life has taken mystical to a whole new undead level.

Shift Happens series #5. Final book in the series. Best read in order. Paranormal shifters romance / comedy.
Essie, Hank, Dwayne, Granny and the rest of the WTF crew need to solve a crime to prevent werewolves and the rest of the supernatural world from being exposed to the world. So naturally they need a Demon necromancer and they just happen to have the right connections.

Over the top sarcasm, hilarity and crazy antics. And that doesn’t even include Granny’s new romance! Add in the Bob’s and werecows and it’s all out bedlam.
Sad it’s over, but the author has lots of other series that I will be adding to my tbr.

Shift Happens series book 4. Paranormal wolf shifter. Can be read as a stand-alone but better as part of the series.
Sandy is ready to do the mating thing and her instinct says it’s Junior, the alpha of the pack. Junior has lusted after Sandy for awhile. Now they have just a few hurtles to jump to get their happily ever after.

Absurd humor and loony antics, and even a bit crass, this addition to the series is for Junior who is a nerd at heart, and uber sexy to the women of the pack. Sandy needs to prove herself and knock those women out of the running for his attention. Little does she know, he only has eyes for Sandy. Of course there are complications as the Bob’s interfere and the WTF council members are revealing themselves. Read along as this couple gets their hea.

Dima is a dragon shifter. She’s very close to 500 years old, at which time either a curse will kill her or her father, the King, will try. Dima has been plotting to kill her father ever since he killed her mother and brothers. Dima’s friends, the Werewolves, the Werecows and vampire Dwayne are willing to help but they don’t have the fire power she needs. So Dima seeks help from The Resistance, a dangerous group of dragons with the fire she needs. And maybe a mate. Dragons need sex after all.

Hilarious, outrageous, and incredibly entertaining. Sure, there is fighting, enemies, and yelling threats. Even past violence and oppression. But it’s all presented in a ridiculous adventure that follows Dima in her quest. There are also some heartfelt touching scenes and a few steamy sexy scenes. Typical Peterman ending in a hea.

I alternated between an ebook and an audiobook. The performance on the audio really sold the humor and personality of Dima and her love of friends and family.

Shift Happens series #2. Paranormal romance. Best read as part of the series. First person.
Essie just wants to plan her wedding to Hank but it seems someone disagrees. Weres, vampire, dragons, feral wolves and Were Cows mixed together make Essie a little testy.

Hilarious and engaging adventure that will have you laughing out loud. Bawdy humor and crazy shifters. I’ll never hear “Jesus H.” again without thinking of this story.
