Jim Payne

I really enjoyed reading this book for several reasons. One is that I was interested in learning kayaking, but wasn't sure about taking on the sport at 60 years old. The author was 75 when he wrote the book, so that gave me some confidence that I could find enjoyment in kayaking. Also the author wrote me a note that he taught political science at the university that I work at. His enjoyment with meeting new people plus his interest in philosophy make for interesting reading. I would probably enjoy having long conversations with Dr Payne, so I am sorry he moved to Idaho.… (más)
