Simon Parke

When the headmaster of Stormhaven Towers is found dead, Inspector Tamsin Shah brings in Abbot Peter to help with her investigation having worked on cases previously. But this is only the first of the deaths.
I didn't particularly like the style of writing, and didn't really care for the two main characters, and the plot struggled to hold my attention.
I doubt I will read more in the series.

Much better than "A Vicar Crucified ",better storyline and characters that are more believable, less amateur theatre characters...

I ended up DNFing this book. It wasn't really anything about the story that turned me off of the book but rather the writing style of the author and it wasn't anything particularly bad about it, it just didn't fit my reading style. The story also wasn't what I thought it was going to be about, which I think is more of my fault but I just thought I'd mention it.

It just wasn't for me.
