That this copy is from the 16th edition testifies that Nurnberg's Lighting has a place in the history of photographic books as one of the most endruing classics. First published in 1940 it has effective helped a couple of generations of photographers improve their work, especially in portraiture, an emphasis of the fine examples. Diagrams, high quality illustrations, and textual discussions all aid the reader. The style of posing, still useful for studio photography, will date the book for media and art photographers, but the iinsights on using light effectively are enduring.… (más)
