This is an engaging urban fantasy, set in a world where the boundary between our world and the world of fairies has broken in places, and some humans are born with magical powers from the fairy world. Normal humans lock the magical humans in ghettos, and they struggle to survive. The narrator starts having dreams of a woman kidnapping children, and realizes that the children she dreams about are missing in real life, so she must figure out how to rescue them.

The worldbuilding here is really good - I can tell there is a lot to this world that didn't make it into the book, and will hopefully show up in the sequels. The author is also good at bringing in elements from traditional fairy tales and blending them into her world while still retaining a lot of originality and avoiding overused tropes.… (más)
