This country had the markings of a failed state right from the start. Midwifed by England and nurtured since then by the US, the country has never been able to get out of the rut it has dug itself and it only seems to get deeper. If the US had wanted to establish a showcase democracy in the middle east then this would have been the perfect petri dish. Inspite of the copius amount of aid amounting to billions of dollars not to mention the massive quantities of arms, the country has only managed to squander all of it.
This is probably the only Army in the world with a country, it's tentacles spreading far and wide and affecting every aspect of life and churning out a vast number of millionaire generals. Handing over independence has been akin to entrusting a monkey with a Ginsu knife. Not only has it cut itself badly but it has become a major source of instability in the entire region. It is time that the US which has been virtually ruling by remote control, take matters into it's own hands and settle this matter once and for all.… (más)
