Maryann Myers

Tetch is a heartwarming story about a small town, a crime involving a prized race horse and a unique woman who though wrongly accused rises above the fray through her own strength and resilience and through the undying support of a community who loves her. In my opinion, it is reminiscent of Jan Karon’s Mitford Series,only with an edge.

Myers writing is engaging and credible. The characters come alive on the page through vivid sensory details and plain-talking dialogue. I admire and root for the heroine and the community who supports her. The main themes of good triumphing over evil, the power of community and the strength and resilience of a woman who stands in her truth make this an enjoyable and satisfying read for all ages. What a great role model Tetch is for young women!

This is the first time I have read one of Myers’ many books and reading this entices me to keep reading more of her work.… (más)
