Sheila P. Moses

Joseph’s parents are divorced. His father is serving in Iraq, and his mother has descended into addiction. Joseph lives with his mother, but she loses their house to foreclosure, and they land in a homeless shelter. He goes to live with his mother’s sister’s family, and attends a better school, but trouble still follows him so long as his mother is around.
