This book was easy to follow and it had strong writing. I think that I am too young for it to speak to me, but I can see how someone going through a mid-life crisis might find it helpful.

A few of the "Make it Your Own" ideas are intriguing--which is about all I have to say of a positive nature. Being a "mid-life" woman, I expected great things from this book. However, it reads like a manic-depressive on acid. The topics aren't introduced sufficiently nor are they discussed (at all!). Some topics have just a few sentences, a "Make It Your Own" page and then it jumps into another unrelated topic. One or two of the topics would be very interested had they been treated with any depth at all.
All in all a very "shallow" book but that contributes nothing to a midlife woman wanting to expand her life -- or to anyone else reading it.
Sorry, I hate negative reviews, but I also would hate for someone to pay good money for this book and be as disappointed as I.… (más)
