I thought the story slightly stumbled in the first two chapters but then after we regained our footing, we were sprinting at shifter speeds!

The book is fast paced with us getting a quick world building and new surprises around every turn. Keeping a red-string wall for the people and events isn't necessary per say, but it definitely helps to keep all the facts in line.

I read this book in a few hours and was pleased with how things are progressing and while it ends in a cliffhanger that would normally make me scream, I am lucky enough to have started this series after it's already complete. I found out about this book thanks to a random TikTok showing up on my FYP and I'm very glad the algorithm brought me this adventure!

(BTW this is a Romantic Herd book, however there's no intimate scenes in this book, just a lot of lusting and nudity and some kissing)… (más)

This second book in the series definitely didn't disappoint! My goodness... The witty, snarky back and forth, lots of action, big reveals, and hot vampires make every page a joy to read. Demi is up to her usual antics, and so much fun to read about. There's a crazy cliffhanger so prepare yourself now. We definitely learned more of her backstory in this one. Thankfully her personality remains the same with her bada$$, snarky self. I can't wait to see what will happen next in book three. Pure addictive fun!… (más)
