The size of this book immediately grasped my students attention. This book was a great way to teach the concept of numbers. Often, my students use large numbers to reference the amount of something but this book allowed them a visual. The many colors on the white page and the black and white characters made it easy to see the numbers were increasing. The visual of the jelly beans and increasing numbers was perfect.

I appreciated how this book progressed from simple numbers to the millions. They also did a wonderful job visually depicting what a million would look like. through my experience children have a hard time grasping just how big some numbers actually are. It does a wonderful job introduction the topic of place holders

The illustration of the book is not too bad. But it could have been better.

I love how colorful this book was! I was excited to turn the page and I think many kids would have fun with this book. The math language used was perfect for the age it is geared towards.… (más)
