I'm rating it three stars, because I enjoyed so much of it. The characters, relationships, great. But the fact remains this is a modern unChristian YA. That being said apart from a couple of pages I mostly skipped it was in my opinion a fairly "clean" book. If a reader is comfortable reading the Bible, then they should be able to skip the scenes fairly easily.
