Bright colorful photos depict what you might find in a field for early readers. Repetitive questions and simple sentences make this an easy read. Book is for very early readers since each page spread contains about 10 words. Last pages contain pictures of keywords, an index and teaching tips.

This is a great nonfiction book for beginning readers. The photographs are colorful and large to keep their attention and the children will follow along and recognize a few site words along the way. I would recommend this as optional. It would work for a school or home setting where a child is learning site words and can read along with an adult or independently.
