New Indian (and Indian American) female writers should get over the idea that writing about their sex lives is exciting and makes for wonderful literature. It doesn't. I would think they would do something constructive with that freedom and come up with some quality work.

Set in India, this is a "bollywood" coming of age/young adult story. Anshi and her friends are in their mid-twenties and trying to figure out where their lives are going. Some of them are working, some planning weddings and some are considering more school. All of them are in a state of flux, but tyrying to enjoy it. Lots of detail and amusing characters.
