Euan Macpherson

I originally had high hopes for this book. After reading William Beadles "Jack the Ripper: Anatomy of a Myth" I found Bury to be one of the most likely candidates for having been Jack the Ripper.
While Macpherson's book gives some interesting insights into Bury's life (and gives a good account of his time in Dundee and his trial) it fails to provide any concrete evidence that Bury was the Ripper.
An interesting read none the less.

Interesting - presents the case that a man convicted of killing his wife in Scotland (but who had previously lived in London) was responsible as well for the Ripper killings. I don't think the case is closed, but it is an interesting book, nonetheless...
