Pretty good. The last chapter is a bit off from the others, but it fits with the theme and sets up the (hopefully grand) finale.

Third collection in the series, and it's a good one.

Moon Knight meets some old friends and new enemies.

I bought it to read and then give them to someone else to read, and I think we'll both enjoy the book. I am bummed out though, that it is a looong series and ends in weird cliffhangers. Just Marvel things, I suppose.½

Not bad, not bad. Though it would have helped had I read the previous series, obviously. Oh well, it was quite fun. I would have preferred an even more closed book but luckily I have the two next softcovers at home already.½

This was a lot of fun! And the art for the main story is really excellent.½

Almost as good as the first volume, but I feel Clea had to give up the center stage too early for an inevitable return with a telegraphed ending right out of Ghostbusters: "Don't cross the streams!"

Still, I had fun, and this was the first series that made me feel like Clea was a worthy character instead of a minor annoyance to be endured.

This follow-up to The Death of Doctor Strange has Clea taking over the role of Sorcerer Supreme as well as the Sanctum Sanctorum in Greenwich Village. While she makes some efforts to protect the earthly realm from magic onslaughts, she is mostly distracted by her desire to find a way to resurrect Stephen Strange.

Conveniently, a bunch of dead people start popping up in the form of revenants being created by a magical crime cartel. Unfortunately, as Clea tries to subdue the revenants for clues to Strange's resurrection, she starts butting heads with a new avatar of death called -- riiiiiiiiidiculouslyyyyy -- Harvestman.

I have found Clea's haughty attitude hard to deal with in the past, but her single-minded straightforward attitude amused me here. And there were enough cameos from and team-ups with the rest of the Marvel universe to make this rather fun. Much better than the turgid book that preceded it.

Cleo is now Sorcerer Supreme because Stephen Strange is dead. Cleo wants Stephen to not be dead and will go to a lot of lengths to undo this. There's a bit of a team up with Moon Knight and it's all quite interesting. I would like to know what happens next

Eh. Some interesting ideas, but Kirsten is horribly mischaracterized. The art is mostly fine, nothing standout amazing but also nothing so poorly done it distracts from the story.

The only thing I’ve seen about daredevil is the movie staring Ben Affleck. I haven’t seen or read anything else about it. I picked this up because I liked the cover.

What I liked: The artwork, that’s pretty much it. Oh and the dialogue wasn’t cheesy.

What I didn’t like: The plot is confusing, am I missing something? Is there a series that picks up right before? Is Daredevil going to be in a coma the entire series? Also there’s someone (is it daredevil?) in a different costume which confused me.

Artwork: The pictures are neat and clean.

I won’t be picking up the rest of the series.

First of all, truth in advertising demands that all comic book stories that begin with the words "The Death of . . . " should be edited to more accurately read "A Death of . . . " or "One in a Series of Deaths of . . . " Stephen Strange is dead only until he ain't.

This particular death unfolds in two inter-connected arcs. The first is a murder mystery asking who stabbed Stephen Strange through the heart and stole his hands. The second is a giant cosmic showdown with magic-eating variant on Galactus called the Peregrine Child, who even has his own Silver Surfer-type heralds who seek out and soften up his next target.

For the mystery, a "surprise investigator" slowly follows the clues and calls all the suspects together to finger the perpetrator as investigators have been doing for centuries now. Call it homage or call it trope, either way it's dull as all get out. I had absolutely no interest in who actually did it before or after the reveal. For the cosmic battle, dozens of superheroes smack and/or team up with a dozen villains to against all odds defeat the big bad. Ain't a spoiler if it's the same recipe used in every superhero confection.

Stephen Strange has always been a C-level hero for me, and I've only ever read his comic books out of completist urges rather than any actual desire to enjoy his adventures. This is more of the meh that has cloaked him since his first appearance.

I did enjoy the first Benedict Cumberbatch movie though, and look forward to seeing the sequel coming out soon. I'm hoping this book isn't under consideration for the storyline of the third film.

Finished reading the first 6 issues of the new Moon Knight series by Jed MacKay & Alessandro Cappuccio (@alessandro__cappuccio) from @marvel and it’s a solid start to the new series. Heavy on the action, it’s establishing some new characters (the /other/ Fist of Khonshu), and bringing back some familiar faces (Tigra), and setting a great villain against MK (Zodiac), while also handling MK’s DID issues. I’ll definitely be keeping up with this series, as Moon Knight has always been one of my favorite Marvel characters, and the story and art in this new series is great. Also a great way to set up great expectations for the new @themoonknight series on Disney+.

I wasn't sure what to rate this book. It was an engaging read, and I think it was a good lead up to Spider-Geddon. However, upon reading the first few issues of Spider-Geddon, I can say I am still a little bit lost. However, if you enjoy the Spiderverse, this is still enjoyable. Just keep in mind that it is not like the movie, Into the Spiderverse. There were some stories that I was left really confused by and some I was frustrated by. I just hope that my questions are answered in Spider-Geddon.

Meh, some were good others either annoyed or confused me.
I liked Spider-punk and Superior Octopus.
Thought Pini was a PITA and the story felt longer than a one shot.
Got confused by Petey and Ben.
And annoyed that Norman got away without facing retribution by getting zapped out of that reality.

Black Cat does some work for the Silver Fox and steels from several Marvel heroes.

I'm curious as to what is going on and I want to read more here. I also would like to read more about how she came to be Black Cat.

I'll be honest, when I finished the first four issues of this mini-series, I wasn't a huge fan. With little action, this plot-driven arc focused on characters I didn't really know, and seemed to be a predictable story.

But the final issue really brought it together. This transitional series was a perfect introduction to the new Comic Daredevil, who is usually branded as the Man Without Fear. After a tragic accident, he's paralyzed by fear and must come to terms with the fact that he has to keep fighting enemies while also fighting a new enemy- his own self doubt.

Visually interesting, a bit cheesy but that's good for a comic book. Great imagery and writing.
