Daisy Luther

Let me preface this by saying that my wife and myself have been readers of Daisy's website for quite some time. While usually if we needed additional information prior to purchasing a product we would take a gander at reviews and whatnot in order to figure out how it performs, it wasn't the case with this book.

Would say we 'took a leap of faith', but to be honest, we expected solid work by Ms. Luther, and we were not disappointed!

Having run a website for a bit, we know it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to continue to hammer out incisive and meaningful work during times like these, and this dedication the author has is shown in this write up is the top-notch quality that readers of her website are used too.

There are ample recipes for canning a variety of dishes and such. Upon giving this book to my wife as a X-mas gift, my wife absolutely LOVED it. In fact, just yesterday we canned the Hungarian Goulash [first time trying such, and enjoyed it!] and soon we are going to follow another recipe. We look forward to following recipes and tweaking some based on some health concerns of ours.

The book is easy to ready, but very precise in its recipes. All in all this book belongs in every prepper's library, or anyone who is interested in canning organic food. Be it a beginner, or a veteran to canning, there is something here for everyone.

Hopefully she continues to follow through with her work, be it via the website, books and whatnot because she IS making a difference.… (más)
