Very short book on the issue of Russian criminals buying outright the former Soviet intelligence services in order for them to do the mafias bidding. The author is critical of both Yeltsin and Gorbachev which he uses as justification for his defection. Lunev considers that his best work was as an undercover journalist in China and the US. Lunev concludes by asserting that the mafia could infiltrate Israel and that it was possible, and rumored to that effect, that US soldiers (from the Korean and Vietnam War) could have been sent to Soviet satellites or Moscow for testing as possible double agents. But he says that the Soviets would not have been involved in the torture of Americans.… (más)
