This book started out so strong and then fizzled out quite a bit.

If you are looking for a quick, insta-love, steamy read these books are cute and the best. They do go by fast and they are short stories, but I do enjoy reading them in between reads because of that. This story follows Kaden and Kourtney who meet one night at tacos and trivia and instantly they are attracted to each other. It was all happenstance that they knew so many of the same people and it seemed like fate sorted their story out.

I really enjoy these sweet, steamy, easy reads they are like a great palate cleanser after reading some emotional books and these make me laugh. This is an insta love, marriage, all in one read but it also made me laugh even if its super cheese. If you need a nice simple read these books are for you.

A fantastic read that takes you on a journey of finding yourself, love, and maybe a little luck.

A good, quick, easy read that kept me interested from start to finish. Ranger is an ex military man that is part of a motorcycle club, he is honorable, protective, and loving. So when he sees Ruby stranded on the side of the road he doesn't hesitate to help her out and keep her safe. They have an immediate attraction that neither one can fight but circumstances that brought them together try to pull them apart but Range will not allow that to happen. I loved the fierceness of Ranger and he's needs to protect Ruby, this was a fun and steamy read.

This was a sweet read about Lydia the Heartlands MC sweetheart who has had a crush on Jackyl for over a year and has been trying to get his attention but nothing seems to work. Jackyl has been infatuated with Lydia since his eyes landed on her, but since he has done time he doesn't feel like he deserves someone like her. When these two finally end up together it is explosive and instant love. I enjoyed this read because we got to see other club members and the two main characters could not be more perfect for each other.

This is a very sweet, fast paced, novella about young love and losing it. Can you really meet your one true soulmate in high school and end up happily ever after? For Bailey and Baxter they had that instant soul crushing high school love but then Baxter just up and disappears from Bailey’s life and their town Sweetheart. Now years later Bailey is back to get answers and even though she is sunned to see Baxter return. They try to work things out to see if too much time has passed or if their love was the real deal, so will things change or has too much time and pain hurt them forever? A very good quick paced read.

This is a collection of short stories by amazing authors that takes place in Winter Falls. It is a great way to immerse yourself in some super steamy, insta love, holiday reads. These are the ones I have read so far but I intend to go back and read them all because they are so cute and fun.

Lincoln and Bethenny by Fiona Davenport
Lincoln is traveling to Winter Falls to spend Christmas at his friend’s parents house but a turn of bad luck has him delayed, missing his rental car, no hotel room, and stranded in a blizzard. This bad luck seems to turn into good luck when he finds a house that not only has a generator but the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. Bethenny is the mayor of Winter Falls and has a heart of gold especially when she decides to help a complete stranger take shelter in her home. Their attraction is instantaneous and they can’t fight it at all so they decide to let things play out. The steam is off the charts, their connection is instant, and they fall easily for each other. This was such a steamy yet cute read and a great way to introduce us to Winter Falls.

Nicholas and Quinn by Frankie Love:
Nicholas has left his family behind to spend a Christmas away from their meddling and conniving ways so he has rented a cabin in Winter Falls. He decides to place call for a delivery of groceries what he doesn’t expect is to find an instant attraction to the other voice on the phone. Quinn helps her grandfather run their local market and when she gets a phone call from a sexy sounding man asking for a (wink wink) big package she knows she just has to make this delivery. Getting stuck during the blizzard with a stranger isn’t what either one expects but things really heat up and they can’t seem to stop their instant love they find. These two were really steamy and instantly fell hard, I loved it!

Gavin and Tory by Rochelle Paige:
These two are one of my favorites because their attraction may be instant but there seems to be something deeper to them. Gavin helps Tory in two different situations and being stranded in a snow patrol safe haven isn’t what they expected but it does bring them closer together. As things heat up they can’t deny what is happening between them and neither of them want to let it go. Tory’s ex best friend has caused her trouble and I was glad to get to see that closure and the way Gavin also stood up with her. These two are perfect for each other.

The Heartlands MC is a series contributed to by multiple authors. Conley is the 8th book in the series by Frankie Love. This is my 1st read of Frankie's also. Conley is a short age-gap insta-love romance with some daddy kink thrown in the mix. Since this was my 1st book from this series I was a bit lost at the beginning since I didn't know what had already happened but it wasn't as bad as some of read like that.
Conley is the president of the MC and his club has been dealing with an enemy that's been attacking them. Calico is a single mom to her son River and they are on the run from his father, her ex. When her car breaks down it's towed to the Heartlands garage and Conley is instantly in love with her. However Calico isn't the woman he thinks she is and can't decide if she's there as a spy for their enemy or really telling the truth about running away with her son. Conley wants to set up her ex Grill to get her and River's freedom. Things don't work out the way they want exactly but you'll have to read to see.
I gave this one a 4-star rating and a 3-spicy rating because it was a good short read and I usually don't enjoy books this short as much. I felt for River in this book cause man that kid is having to grow up quicker than he should have. And the epilogues just put the biggest smile on my face. This one has me interested in the Heartlands MC and I'm definitely going to read the whole series now as I suggest you should too!

I loved this introduction into the Rough Family and all the fun inhabitants of Home. Hijinx is my favourite dog ever, he is adorable. I enjoyed watching both Bartlett and Abby interact with the many members of the Rough Family. I appreciated that Bartlett’s siblings were each different while still holding similar values instead of only having 1 odd one out like we often see. I think Abby and Bartlett understand each other in a way few others can, and I enjoyed watching Bartlett and his family fight for Abby. No spoiling but Abby’s full name and family business were such a fun surprise and made this story unique. I can’t wait to read the rest of the siblings’ stories and hope to see Abby and Bartlett make appearances.

I didn't enjoy this one but I had to give stars for how well it is written. It flows fast enough & I didn't find typos etc.
The mc's are well defined for such a short story.
A lot of positives,
BUT
Way To Syrupy Sweet & Corny for me.
The adult intimate scene barely hits the steamy level.
More like a Young, Rose Colored Glasses kind of romance.
If I had rated this strictly on my 'Like' meter it would have been 2 stars.
Really glad it wasn't any longer.

Not as good as the first one I read, but still a fun, quick read.
This one had a couple of typos and was a bit more 'cheesy'.
There is still a lot of quirky humor and the adult sex scene was definitely 'down & dirty'.

Stone is a special-ops soldier who, because of an explosion in the cave he's hunting terriorist, wakes up in a pre-historic world. Alone for five years, he hears a woman's voice. She's scared and trying to outrace a wholly mammoth. Who is she? Where did she come from?

I enjoyed this story. It's a good escape from today's reality. I liked the world building of the Stone Age (no pun intended) and how Stone and Skylar (the woman) learn to live together. Both have scars from their pasts but since they only have each other they learn to work together. They are attracted to each other and try to make their lives as "normal" as possible. They do a good job at it.

The ending is interesting. I want to know what happens to the other guys he was with in the cave. I'd also like to know if they can ever get back. Do they want to go back?

A great insta-love anthology

I’m a bit of a sucker for sticky sweet and sexy insta-love stories so this anthology sounded perfect. Even better, it’s set in Key West at the destination wedding of Avery and Gabe whose own story is currently available as a free prequel. There’s no need to have read it before reading these stories, though.

From there we get to hear the stories of the friends and relatives of the happy couple as they too find their happily ever afters in the Florida heat.

While each story is different, all are filthy hot, super sweet and come with a delicious happily ever after. We get some obsessive heroes, friends who become lovers, a stepbrother romance, a few age gap romances, some curvy girls, a cowboy and so much more. It’s basically a book smörgåsbord of tropes.

We get a small introduction and ending by Elle Christensen and the rest of the stories are as follows:

Fiona Davenport writes an older man, younger woman, curvy girl romance with a hero that is ob-sessed as soon as he sets his eyes on the heroine. Smokin’ hot way to kick off this anthology.

Elle Christensen gives us duelling step-siblings who finally give in to their feelings in another deliciously sexy tale.

Hope Ford’s story is of a cowboy crashing the wedding party to win the girl of his dreams whose heart he broke 7 years before. A somewhat weak effort compared to our first two tales but still alright.

Hannah McBride’s sweet and sexy story is of two former high-school nemesis (nemeni?) who feel the heat this time around and realise they’re all the other has ever wanted.

Kaci Rose tells the tale of a curvy girl and her older, military penpal who has finally come to claim her. This was another cute tale that had its fair share of heat.

Bella Matthews brings us a friends to lovers, fake-dating, only one bed mash-up that’s as sweet and satisfying as it is hot.

Frankie Love gives us a full-on sex fest when the bride’s uncle is reunited with one of her best friends. Not sure if the story was cut-off or if there was more - but still did what it intended!

C.M. Steele’s double virgin, co-worker, enemies-to-lovers, fake dating concoction came last and it was the only one of the stories that I just didn’t like. Shame to end things on a low.

If you like sweet and dirty tales taking place in a short space of time then you’ll definitely find something in this bunch to float your boat. A few editing issues don’t distract from what is a fun and cute anthology. 4 stars.

I fell in love with this blurb. Scottish men, a baby surprise, and a nanny? Seemed like the perfect trifecta. Sadly, it didn't live up to my hopes. It had so much potential but felt rushed and forced in parts. If it had been more detailed this would have definitely ranked higher.

Just ICK!! Not what I was expecting and way too sweet for me. Ridiculous Instalove and deliver me from a woman who whines during sex. I mean really. I also paid for a book and got a short story. To be fair, this in undoubtedly someone's cup of tea just not mine

Ugh. Do not reread!!

I have loved Frankie Love but this simple, formulaic story was painful. I felt like an eighth grader trying to read a worldly book. Instalove, dual virgins everything tied up in a neat bow. Not for me

Hot, snow-sizzling insta-love anthology

Who doesn’t love a Christmas anthology chock-full of festive tales? If you do, and insta-love is your thing, too, then you’re going to adore this fun and sexy anthology.

We start off with an all-encompassing overview of the residents of and visitors to the small mountain resort town of Winter Falls. An unprecedented snowstorm is on its way and there’s mischief afoot. It seems like 9 couples will be finding themselves snowed in together during this blizzard.

The stories are named for the characters and don’t (at the moment at least) have other titles.

Every single story was quick, cosy, festive and really did make you wish to be snuggled up by the fire with a cup of hot chocolate, cream and marshmallows. I’m always happy to read Christmas stories and I just adore it when they give you that delightful, magical festive feeling inside!

These are all insta-love stories so many of our couples have not met each other prior to getting snowed in together somewhere in Winter Falls. Understandably, the connections are instant and the relationships progress at light speed. And we still get happy endings that are more than satisfying.

And speaking of satisfying - these stories are hot enough to melt the snow. They are fan-yourself delicious and exactly what I was hoping for from these authors and an insta-love anthology.

I’ve read most of the authors in this collection before but there are a few that are new to me. I’ll definitely be taking a look at other stories from them. While each story was similar in many ways - snowed in, insta-love, often a virgin involved, they were all different enough to keep things interesting. I honestly enjoyed each and every story in this set and will happily recommend this anthology to anyone who loves any of the authors involved or just wants a Christmas, insta-love fest. It’s sexy, magical and such a fun read. Definitely 5 stars.

Escape from a cult. A bit different to the other original mountain man series, a clever variation.

This is a re-release of a previous book with a different cover and title(?).

This one was not for me.

Things seem pretty sure at certain times but as it's Frankie Love you know it will have a HEA.

A good story.
