Manichaeism in the later Roman Empire and medieval… por Samuel N. C. Lieu
As hinted at by the title, this book focuses on the westernmost and easternmost regions to which Manichaeism spread from its Mesopotamian point of origin. This is apparently less because of the unevenness of the sources than because Lieu's expertise being concentrated in these areas.

Given the limitations on coverage, I thought it was quite good.
