Rebecca lives a lonely life. Before she was to be married, her fiance's father revealed her family's secret. Her fiancé left her. She refused to forgive her family for never revealing the truth and has been estranged from them for many years. However, her neighbor's daughter charms her and soon she is charmed by young KC's father. Then there's the widowed minister who finds Rebecca fascinating. What a predicament! Two men love her but she cannot marry either one and she refuses to tell them why. But the Lord's grace works its way into her heart.

This is a story of patience as well as forgiveness. The kind understanding of the men who love Rebecca teach her in a gentle way to release herself from the past. A wonderful read!

I have enjoyed every book about Sarah I’ve read. Gay N. Lewis has a delightful talent for weaving contemporary problems with Biblical truths in an entertaining way. I’ve become accustomed to the other angels making appearances in the stories to guide Sarah along in her assignment—like Mother Goodness and Tomas. The continuity of Sarah’s world in each book is perfect. This story was absolutely on target involving the pressures of today’s society. Losing weight isn’t easy and choosing the right man isn’t easy either but Sarah does her best to help Valerie stay on track. This is a wonderful read!

Domestic abuse is never right, but in the early 1900s some men thought it was their right and often the officers of the law looked the other way. Married young, Mattie accepts her husband's beatings, believing in her failings as a wife. Her husband backs up his cruel behavior with his erroneous interpretation of the Scriptures. Her sister-in-law enlightens Mattie and helps to rescue her from the vicious cycle of mistreatment.

Mattie's courage and resilience shine through despite her circumstances. This is truly a worthwhile read with thought-provoking questions to ponder at the end of the book.

I've read several of Gay N. Lewis's Sarah books and I've enjoyed them all. In this one, Sarah guides a woman toward love with a cowboy. Sarah disguises herself as an older lady in this story, which is a perfect foil in comparison to the young, beautiful woman who is distraught after losing both her job and her fiancé in the same day. This sweet story with just the right touch of warmth and wisdom made me smile.

Alan constantly criticizes Georgia, and she is almost too good to be true in dealing with her husband's cutting remarks. Then she's tempted by another man. Will she remain true to her vows or find kindness elsewhere? A very real, contemporary look at marriage that's definitely worth reading.

Sarah is an angel fresh out of school and on her first mission. With an impossible deadline to meet, she feels inadequate for the task. She is supposed to have Tom married by Valentine's Day--even though he does not have a girlfriend. As she blunders through her assignment, she creates chaos all along the way, but she's such a sweetheart I could not help but smile through the book.

This is a delightful peek at the behind-the-scenes world of angels. Who knew they had so much to do?

Absolutely a treat! Sarah, the little love angel, is instrumental in bringing together three couples--despite her own ineptitude with computers and disguises. She's clumsy and has no sense of direction as well, but she truly cares about her charges and does her best to nudge them toward matrimony.

I truly enjoyed Sarah's adventures along with the reminders about God's love for all. Well worth reading.

Sarah, a directionally challenged little angel, gets her first assignment on earth. It’s mid-January and she needs to find a partner for Tom Shoemaker by Valentine’s Day. He’s a wealthy businessman in Houston but he’s been asked to fill his late father’s position in the pulpit of a small, rural church.

Sarah intervenes as Tom takes his mother, Allison, to The Pie Palace. Due to Sarah’s ravenous appetite she turns herself into a human so she may indulge in earthly food. Playing with the sugar packets she drops the white powder on the floor. When Sarah crouches to clean up her mess, she trips the waitress, Marcy, who dumps a full tray of food into Tom’s lap.

Marcy and her young daughter, Hope, live alone in the small town after the death in Afghanistan of Marcy’s husband. She is struggling to keep her job and raise her daughter.

Through Allison’s unexpected invitation to dinner and bungling Sarah’s attempts to keep the couple together a relationship develops. Sarah has lost her instructions on how she should complete the mission and takes on more responsibility, tells some lies and due to her fondness for cheeseburgers finds herself in hilarious situations. Her desire to wear stilettos is one of her many endearing qualities.

The elders want a decision from Tom on the ministry and his confusion causes Marcy to question their relationship. Will they be together in time for Valentine’s Day? Will Sarah please her superiors in The Heavenlies and be allowed to return?
