This is the book that many sellers of strip built canoe kits recommend.

I checked out the book from Charlotte Woodworkers Club library and spent a few hours reviewing what needs to be done.

A little more time consuming than I had thought it would be, and requires more tools than I currently have. Still plan on building a strip built canoe, but have put that project on the back burner for a while.

One of my husband's flights of fancy is to build one of these. It looks profoundly difficult.
