Ninja is an informational text and is written for a younger audience. It tells the history of Ninjas as well as information on what weapons they used and how the ninja fighting style is carried on today through marital arts classes. In my opinion this was a great book because it gives a lot of information in simple words. A lot of the illustrations in the book are photographs of people recreating the moment in ninja history that the book is talking about. My favorite feature of the book is how words that children may not know are in red. Then in the bottom corner of the book the words are defined and explained. Finally, there is a glossary of the words at the end of the book. For example, the word "Iga" is typed in read and then it is explained in the definition in the corner of the page how Iga one of the two types of ninjas.… (más)
