Sight Words Learning Games features six games designed to help kids learn sight words. The games include memory games, spelling, flash cards, and other word matching games. The free version allows kids to play the first two games using the Pre-K wordset. The first free game has kids match words as they are read aloud by alternating male and female voices, and in the second kids tap on gears to hear the word and move the corresponding word to the correct gear. Although appearing like games, there is no penalty when kids miss a word which might discourage them from playing. When a correct word is chosen, it is read aloud once more and kids receive encouragement. The use of the male and female voice guidance also makes the app easy to use by providing verbal instruction to users. Purchasing the full version for $1.99 allows you access to all six games and additional to include words for different grade levels. The app is available for Android and iPhone. Ages 3-6.
