Interesting book but not what I expected at all. I had thought it would be about different buildings in Hollywood that are still remaining from the silent to golden age of film and what had happened in them. Instead there are short vignettes about various people in Hollywood including Frank Sinatra, Al Jolson, Milton Berle, Georgie Jessel, Judy Garland, Mickey Moore, Shirley Jones, Sam Goldwyn, etc. The stories were all very interesting and most, not ones that I had read about previously.
