An art-loving friend dragged me across Los Angeles to see the exhibition of Bacerra's work at the Otis -- totally new to me. The space wasn't large but the large pieces demanded personal space around each.. barely enough to contain the samples of his work. This volume has examples from all phases of his life and shows his influences on his students by including a few of their works. His exquisite attention to detail is the principal characteristic the pieces have in common. Its a commendable volume.… (más)
