I think this is a great read for children who are beginning to read science books. There are so many books like this (different animals) but this one specifically talks about turtles. I think a teacher could do many activities with this book (ex. name one thing you learned about turtles and draw a picture to show what you learned!) I think this book could be great for retelling (for kids) because there are not that many words in the book. I also like that this book talks about opposites (ex. some turtles are big. some turtles are small.)… (más)
