Legends of the wise tell a story from ancient times, which took place just after the creation of
the World, a time when the most beautiful of angels, Lucifer, longed to be greater than God
The Archangel Gabriel used his lance to strike down the rebellious "Angel of Light", and hit
Lucifer on the head, knocking a shining jewel from his crown: the lewel of Light flew through
the heavens, annealing the stars, and creating the Milky Way. Lucifer fell also, losing the right
to his name, no longer the Carrier of the Light. Dark and threatening, arms sweeping aside the
stars of the northern sky, he feli. In a terrible rage he hit the Earth, creating a wide basin which
today is home to the Czechs.

A splinter of the lewel buried itself in a hill which would later become the famous Vysehrad
the setting where the princess Libuse prophesied a city so great its fame would reach the
stars. The second-most sacred place in Prague, found across from the Prague Castle, separated
by the river Vitava. Where the Castle stands today, the heralds once found a person hewing
the first threshold prah- and everyone knows that the rich and poor alike bow before
a threshold. Prah, the root of Praha, Prague, the name Libuse envisioned for the great city she
foresaw. Ever since, it has stood on the banks of the Vitava, weathering many an historical
storm; it has weathered them all, remaining beautiful, regal, and above all, mysterious.
What of the one who brought the events into fold? What of his cohorts the legions of angels
who fell with him through space? And what of the ancient Wise? Did they too disappear in the
depths of the Void, from which all life comes, and eventually returns to? Did anything, at all
remain behind?.

Prague. Prague remains, with its hundred spires, and its winding cobblestone streets, and its
secret passageways. tis the magic metropolis of Europe, the city of alchemists and necroman-
cers, a city for those who would discover the Truth. Prague observant and full of observers
a city continually experienced and open to everything new issuing from the Light
secret passageways.
