Robert L. Kruse

Although I haven't compared very many textbooks on data structures, I've gotten more out of this book on my own than the one I used in formal coursework. It gives a good elucidation of B-trees, an important and somewhat difficult topic that is skirted by many other treatises.

Excellent on 1994, but somewhat outdated on 2006
