In this survey book, life cyles of various organisms including plants and animals are described. New words presented in the book are bolded with a glossary. The pictures in the book capture amazing animals and plants in the wild. Although this book does not show the life cycle (especially complete or incomplete metamorphosis) of organisms, it does provide many facts as well as further reading opportunities. This is a really cute book. It is about animals and how they survive in the wild. It focuses on animals that have to survive during very harsh conditions. This is great for a science lesson about animals.
