The Oathkeepers MC series by Sapphire Knight has been on my TBR list for a while now since I read one of the stories in an anthology a while back. I just haven't had a chance to get to it yet but I have read her RBMC series. That is how I was introduced to her and after reading Death Dealer for her Mayhem Makers and OathKeepers MC: Nomad series I can't decide which I like better but I'm pretty sure it's this one. I love how Sapphire Knight writes her stories. The characters all seem like someone I could know in the real world their so personable.
This book is about Flame and Torch who are quite toxic together and perfect at the same time. Neither had good lives growing up so when they found each other it was an instant connection. They were crazy for each other and had Annabelle their daughter. Originally Torch was a part of the Widow Makers MC in North Carolina until they patched over to the OathKeepers MC and Torch got to be the death dealer for his best friend's chapter in Texas far away from Flame. See she ended up in jail for killing a guy that touched her wrong by setting him on fire and getting caught. She would have only done a couple of years but she couldn't stay out of trouble. When Torch realized she was probably never getting out of jail he served her divorce papers she refused to sign. So he took their daughter to Texas to get as far from her as possible but he should have known that would never be enough. Flame the strong badass psychotic that she is goes crazy when she finds out that she can't find her daughter or Torch for that matter. The one thing she can't do is live without them and is detemined not to. I don't want to give anything away but let's say Torch gets a BIG surprise when Flame shows up at his new clubhouse with friends in tow. Can Flame get Torch back? Can she have her family back for that matter? And who showed up with her in Texas?
I gave this book a 5-star rating and a 4-spicy rating. Torch and Flame were meant to be together. Their story is heartbreaking and heartwarming. It's easy to see both of their point of views on the situation and it's hard not to root for them to get their second chance. They are also one crazy horny couple that spends a lot of time making up for lost time. I'm really glad that I got to read this book. I absolutely loved it and hope there will be another to come!
*I received this book for free. I voluntarily gave an honest review.*

1.75 Stars

I can't take it anymore. I'm dnf'ing at 51%, page 67.
I think I may actually have come to hate Reverse Harem books.
The FMC is only 19. She is a virgin on her wedding night to Matteo and goes from knowing nothing and frightened to OMG I love it having sex with him and ALL his brothers.
Nope. Don't buy that shit AT ALL.
Matteo is supposed to be this Big Time Capo, yadda yadda, but family tradition says he has to share her with them...... WTF!

Is the story hot and smutty? Yep. Virtually every page is sex. And it is hot. Erotic. But! Romantic? NO.

I haven't found anything up to this point that could be considered a Plot, no action (other than the sex, sex, sex), no suspense (other than BELIVABILITY

And the story itself is..... Lacking in everything. The flow sucks too.

So, for me, DNF.

ARC BOOK REVIEW
Release Date-22/5/18

I really adored "Chevelle" like so much.
This story had at its centre; one of my most favourite ever Heroines
Chevelle; and got to say I'm totes loving the name; was absolutely kick ass.
A takes no prisoners Alpha female; whose resilience and sheer stubbornness has been forged on the streets she was forced to grow up on.
An orphan from a young edge and foster runaway, Chevelle has fought tooth and nail for all she now holds dear.
A complete petrol head and owner of the Pit Chevelle has only ever relied on herself.
This girl is definitely one tough cookie.
Enter Mercenary bit of a loose cannon; definitely, the Alpha to challenge Chevelles don't touch persona; he's a recent transfer to this towns chapter of the Oath Keepers and after only one encounter with the gorgeous pit owner and Merc is practically salivating to get up close and personal with this sassy mouthy gearhead.
So I loved the banter between these two; the dynamic here was incredible and the chemistry off the hook.
It made me smile every time Chevelle called Mercenary Cupcake, and to be fair he took it all in good fun.
It was actually quite humbling to watch Chevy slowly lower her walls as she began to realise that Merc was the real deal for her; he really was quite the sweetie despite his somewhat vulgar language and Alpha tendencies.
Trying to reign himself in as he attempts to give Chevy space was cute.
Well; Merc was actually quite shit at that if I'm honest, but it was ever so sweet that he still tried to go against his very dominant nature; was never going to quite work out though.
It was amusing then to just see him think; fuck it and just tell her how it's going to be; a very Tarzan moment that; obviously what was ultimately needed from him though as it does work much more in Mercs favour.
A strong woman needs an even stronger man; cheville needed this to really respect Mercs Dominance.
This was told in Dual POV and has no OM or OW drama.
It's part of a series but can easily be read as a standalone; I did and followed along no problem.
"Chevelle" has some fantastic diverse characters and was action packed throughout.
I thought an exceptionally nice touch was the inspirational quotes at the beginning of each chapter.

Woman who say "I want a bad boy" are clueless. What you need is a man who will break someone's face for you but also make you breakfast in bed.

Bikes are like ol' ladies, if it ain't yours don't touch.

Woman are like teabags. You never know how strong they are until they're in hot water.

Loved this little feature and these sayings did bring a smile to my face often.
I also adored the epilogue; I especially liked how far into the future it was set.
Was so adorable to see Chevelle and Mercenary so many years later and discover what had ultimately changed in there lives.
One of my favourite epilogues ever.
So this was a great well written read that I enjoyed immensely and can definitely recommend.
Thank You to the Author for providing me with an ARC of "Chevelle (Oath Keepers MC #8) " of which I have reviewed voluntary.
All opinions expressed are entirely my own.

Heat: 4.5
This book was right up my alley! Mafia hotties, cool cars, lots of secondary characters so you know they will get their own books! I really liked Emily as a character. She was broken, but it came across as very real. She moved to TN to get away from her problems (why don't more characters in books do this?!? This seems to make the most sense to me!) and of course, they follow her. Tate is AMAZING. He is a bit of an alpha-hole in the beginning but he doesn't stay that way for long. He worships Emily and it is so sweet.
So, why not 5 stars? It was close, really. I mean, I stayed up all night to read it in one sitting so I was totally caught up in the story. However, sometimes, it was the writing that felt stilted to me. Phrases seemed off or hokey. It was enough to notice, but it didn't really detract from my enjoyment of reading the book. Honestly, it might not even bother other people! (I am kind of weird about things). Oh, and this was the 2nd book in a row I have read that used the word 'juices' during a sex scene. That makes me cringe as much as the word 'moist' does for other people. Again, thats a personal thing and it might not bother you!
HEA: Yes

I had a much harder time getting into this book than Secrets. I really liked Secrets. I think part of the problem was I am just not that big of a fan of London. Second, this book was pretty much just sex. Personally, thats not really why I read so that might not be bothersome to you as a reader! (I'm a prude, I admit it!). Both London and Cain were pretty slutty with other people which was just odd to me. They didn't cheat when they were together, so that was good. Overall, I think this is a good book, but perhaps just not for me. Will I keep reading the series? Yep! I'm a little hesitant of the next book since I really didn't care for Avery but hopefully I will like her a bit more! I also think I like the mafia stuff better than the MC stuff. Maybe thats why I haven't liked this book as much.
Oh and I cannot BELIEVE they killed Cam! I mean he totally deserved it but I was shocked! Like WTF! Crazy good twist. And he took out a hit on London?!? He was a douche anyway. Fucking a girl in a parking lot after you just found out you knocked up another girl? Ewww. Glad he wasn't the father!

This was a fantastic read, a story full of hot passion and terrifying violence, and I could not put it down, I was enthralled with the action and suspense.
Princess is out to get back at her father, who happens to be the president of the Oath Keepers, she feels he's been treating her mom really bad, so she's going to make him crazy mad at her. She plans on seducing a biker, but when Viking takes her, on at first she feels she may have the wrong guy. Viking had decided that Princess was for him the moment he saw her, he just has to convince her...which won't be a problem because he always gets what he wants.

Viking had a single minded pursuit of Princess, he just took what he wanted, and his dirty mouth. He was a scary guy but also very sexy, WOW! Princess also was a strong character, she had no fear and stood up to Viking. I liked her very much.
I really enjoyed the start to this new series. This story was gritty and raw, with some great secondary characters. I be following it closely.

I really love all of Sapphire Knights book! She makes the characters feel so real. I was waiting for Niko’s book and was glad to read it.

Niko was a big tough Russian guy that fell in love with one of his best friend. I liked that they were so comfortable together. Sabrina had just enough sass to her. She had some bad things happen to her but Niko never left her mind. The bond between them was strong from the beginning and I think that it helped them both to cope with what happened to her.

Sabrina was a smart woman and she did the best she could with the circumstances that she had to live under. I was heartbroken with some of what happened to her. I was glad that Niko was there for her when she needed him afterwards. I thought that it took them forever to finally admit their feelings!

This was another 5 star read from Sapphire Knight and I can’t wait for her next book. I love them so much that I get them in paperback when I can. Keep up the good work Ms. Knight :)

I really liked this. It was more about the couple than it was about the mafia. I loved Tate and I can't wait to read about the other characters in this book!

So far I have loved all of Sapphire Knight's books. I thought that Exposed was going to be my favorite, but I was wrong. So far this is my favorite. I love the character interaction and how she keeps them tied to the people of the other books. I can't wait to see who is next!

Oh my goodness I didn't think that this series could get any better! I have really liked all the books so far, but I loved this one. It was fantastic getting to see Ares and his 2 loves get together. I am so glad that it worked out the way that I wanted it to! And I absolutely loved the epilogue :) So far, Sapphire Knight had been an excellent author and I can't wait to read more of her books!
