This is a coffee-table book accompanying an exhibition of Marguret Tafoya’s pottery. (The exhibit is worth seeing, if you have a chance). I am not overly interested in art or pottery, but found the book very interesting. I think that what sets it apart from similar books (coffee-table or art exhibit companion) are the many interviews with people who knew Marguret Tafoya. An anecdote about her experience with a Water Serpent when she was a young girl is an example of sort of personal details that sets this above many other books.
